There is definitely some agenda at play here with the current coverage.

I honestly find it hard to believe that a family killed in a home invasion was not a major news story. That kind of thing is extraordinarily rare.

Any time a normal, law-abiding citizen is murdered outside the context of some kind of conflict, it’s big news anywhere. And if it’s caught on video, of course that will hugely magnify its profile.
