I was crazy enough to start the Eagles defence yesterday. I won my matchup by 6 points...guess where those came from.
No doubt my fraud team will be exposed now in the coming weeks and the Fantasy gods will find a way to get even with me.

Ha that's hilarious.
I'm prepared for the fantasy gods to take a dump on me tonight
18 point lead (standard scoring) with Williams on my side, Henry going on their's - and Henry could score 3 against the Lions.
Regardless who comes out of top, the loser will have 20 more points than the next highest scoring team in the league this, week, and will still take the L.

EDIT: A PSA for all to grab Benson if you have the chance to. I think he is going to boom.

It's a deep dynasty league so not very much out there. So trade likely only way to go. In a tough spot because my team sucks and don't want to trade draft capital for a qb who might only play a few weeks before going back to the bench

Hopefully you grabbed Mason last week.

Our league doesn’t do trades though.
I’m doing fine, still got K. Williams and only need to roll with one RB for the week. For sure will need a solid one for when the Rams’ bye occurs. In a PPR league it’s always easier to find a receiver.

Well I have been so focused on trying to make contingency plans for all my bad running backs that this Nabors injury is going to expose my poor depth at WR. Although last two games his 3 and 2.3 PPR points shouldn't be too hard to replace.

I have Nabors. Its the first year of a keeper league where you keep 4 players.
Should I just ride with him on IR, or drop him and seek trade or waiver replacement? He's only 22 so I planned on keeping him, but a knee injury can mess with an RBs explosiveness in the future.

He's a top 15 player, you keep him on IR I think unless other injuries force your hand.
Also he's a WR, not RB.

I would keep Nabors on IR. This was more of a non contact type injury in that it looked ot happen when he jumped to get the ball. So typically players recover better from those than say the Tyreek Hill injury, plus at his age and not having huge milage on him he should be back in top form by about the 4th week of next season. Hopefully for him the Giants have their offensive line sorted out, and Jaxon Dart proves to be a viable QB.

Any thoughts on a choice between Theo Johnson vs Mason Taylor as a waiver wire TE?
Both seeing lots of targets, and I need one of those guys.
Thanks

I think I go Johnson because Dart doesn't have great arm strength so when he does throw he will look to a tight end over the middle of the field. Plus he doesn't have a Garrett Wilson in the route tree right about now.
That said after this week the Jets have Carolina and Cincinnati next before their bye. So easier after this week. Giants have quite a few weeks until their bye with Philly/Denver/Philly/SF/Chi/GB/Det/NE coming up. So that's a pretty tough slate.
As dysfunctional as the Jets are...they do tend to get themselves in garbage time and make hay when it is. Which can be great in fantasy.

Yeah you don't want to watch the Jets, but sometimes the Stat line for a few guys looks pretty good

I think Williams. With Jalen Carter back that Fangio will put together a better game plan against the Giants this go around.
Diggs and Franklin would be my picks. I don't love Franklin, but Dallas is an enticing matchup. Diggs has a tough matchup, but him and Maye might make a few plays.

Well I did you dirty there...Neither Dart of Williams was great...but Dart managed to snag a rushing TD in garbage time with the Skattebo injury. Likewise D.J. Moore ended up getting a role with Burden out so he ended up being more of the offence than I thought he would. Diggs did get the TD...but other than that not much. At least I got the guy who had the huge day right...
That said, I dropped Franklin two weeks ago, and probably should have nabbed him back for my team this week. I went with the Alec Pierce and Josh Downs duo as my Flex and WRT players this week hoping one might be able to take advantage of the Titans. They did okay, but I did have Franklin three weeks ago...and missed out on 24 points carrying some insurance policies. That's the game.

Meh. Caleb had so many chances. It was the right call.
Franklin put up 20 (standard)
I have Taylor and Cook, so it would have been hard to lose this week.
Always appreciate your (and any) advice

Once again I have Bo and Caleb to choose from, with Caleb having the more favorable matchup, but he hasn't done well in any favorable matchup this year. Do I still go with Bo against Houston's #1 passing D?

I think I would go with Caleb Williams against the Bengals if Trey Hendrickson can't go. Without him the Bengals turn into the AFC version of the Cowboys. The Bears played a decent game against the Ravens last week, but ran into some penalty trouble the killed some drives and got them off their game. Nix does have a tough matchup here, but the Broncos do have an offensive line that should be able to counter the pass rush that the Texans come at them with so he's not the worst option either.
I'm fuming from about 3 plays that gave my opponent 4 TD's that were gimme scores plus Kelce's ultra slippery hands costing me a loss of like 3 points and losing my match last week by 4 points. I was a hefty underdog but had a chance...alas, nothing from Croskey-Ferret and that late TD by Rashee Rice that helped my opponent did me in.
You know Fantasy is a terrible game when you hope the guy on your favorite team loses a Fumble when they're up 14 and driving for a TD in the 4th. If Rice loses that fumbe...I win.

I'd go Caleb too, but then I have gone Caleb 3 straight times (instead of Dart) and Dart outscored him every time, and it cost me a win one of those weeks.
I think Caleb scores 20+

12 team Superflex League and after De'Andre Swift was ruled out, I put him on IR. I was rostering Monangai as an insurance policy, so honestly this was good news for me since it's been a split backfield and this should give Monangai a lot of opportunity. I only carry two QB's since I have Mahomes as one, and my other one is C.J. Stroud, so I decided to pick up Jacoby Brissett on the whim that maybe Murray is more injured than they let on and the fact that Brissett has actually been pretty good leading the Cardinals offence and they had chances to win against two teams with really good records. I have no second QB for next week, so Brisset was a guy I saw as maybe being an option for me although next weeks matchup at Seattle is not a good one for QB's.
Should I start Brissett on Monday against a bad Dallas defence? They did play better at home in their last game against the Commanders although Daniels was having a decent day until he got injured. Other than that QB's have lit them up. Or Stroud against the Bronco's on Sunday? I like Strouds talent a lot more, but that Texans offensive line is pretty suspect and Denver has a very good front. Surtain likely isn't playing, but I don't see that allowing Stroud to have a big day.
Just my luck...last week I get the guy who has Derrick Henry and Josh Allen coming off their byes in byepocolypse they both run for two TD's. This week I have the worst team in the league but...every single one of his guys is available to play this week and they all have top 5 matchups.. My team...with the Eagles bye taking out two good players and a lot of other guys having tougher matchups...it's a 50-50 contest. He already got me for two Mark Andrews touchdowns...I mean you couldn't let Henry score a TD this week? Go eff yourself Ravens...I hate you.
