Kerins for me. He has actually produced at the pro level already, whereas we're hoping/projecting Stockselius does

Kerins - if his skating takes a step, he's right there as a middle-six centreman..

Stonkselius is much more of a project.

Here's the 7 he's got in the top 100 for the Flames:
#12 - Cole Reschny
#22 - Zayne Parekh (Reschny over Parekh is interesting)
#31 - Ethan Wyttenbach
#37 - Henry Mews
#73 - Suniev
#81 - Brz
#83- Stockselius
In 1 month from 18th ands 144th in the '25 class to 12th and 31st overall

I sure hope he is right, but it seems the majority of NHL scouts are not on the same page as him. Directionally I think it's fair to say this Flames prospect group is as deep as we've seen, It's been a least a decade since it looked like we had a group that could start populating the NHL as well as these guys. The only gap to even worry about right now is Center / Scoring.

Having Parekh below Reschny and not in the top 5-10 overall seems insane to me and kind of makes me skeptical of his opinion as a whole.

Good to see some love for Wyttenbach. Maybe a little high, but he's my darkhorse choice, right handed offensive winger, the Flames getting him so late in the draft will end up being a steal.

Some pretty nice names in Haynes' sampling. When you see that list and see Jankowski as kind of an outlier, I don't think it's a coincedence that there are a few folks (me firmly included) who have lost a little faith in Honzek. Thanks to Haynes for giving me a different perspective.

Wait, if Howard isn't in the two they have in the top 100, who do they have?

Matt Savoie at #87

Roby Jarventie (#93) who was the same draft class as Kerins and played just 31 games the last two years combined.

To put it bluntly - that list is terrible. Jeremy Loranger is ranked #8.

I mean, the fact that that guy thinks there are 21 prospects in the world who are better than Parekh is pure insanity.

He was in the “honourable mentions” of the list, around #110 if I remember. I’ll see if I can find the tweet.

Kerins for me. He can produce in a pro North American game. Hard to compare vs a lotto ticket in Stockselius.

Round 13 discussing solid prospects still is a win in itself though.

The fact that he has Cole Hutson as the #1 overall, and yet has Parekh - a very similar type player who is WAY BETTER - as #22, is all you need to know about the list.
