Whoever doesn't vote Parekh in this first round should be banned in voting in future rounds for this year. Bears just want attention. lol

Well Valimaki is still a regular NHLer, don't know if I'd call that a miss completely..

Jameison is a Calgary kid, very real chance it could be a family member or friend. I'd vote for him too if he was my kid or my cousin or my buddy. It's all for fun and certainly won't skew the results.

That may all be true, but is still a crap choice. I honestly don't think Tacoman will vote for anyone other than Parekh.

It gets interesting from here. There is a pretty sizeable ledge with 8 players that will be interesting to rank.
Reschny, Potter, Bru, Honzek, Gridin, Basha, Battaglia, Mews. All of these guys are first round talents (Potter was ahead of Reschny on some lists this past draft).

I think you can add Morin and Suniev to that group
These will almost certainly be the next 10, the only question is order

Same, it is fun looking back at old rankings.
Some notable surprises in either direction: Mackey, Parsons, Fox, Pospisil, Kirkland (barely even made the list), Fox, Kulak, Hathaway
I also vividly remember the year that Scorpion insisted on arguing that Morgan Klimchuk was the Flames best prospect.
The one recurring comment you see every year is how deep the prospect pool is compared to previous years.

This really only affects my OCD, but any chance you can change the thread title to 2025 instead of 2024?
Also, Parekh, obviously

Could have made this first round more interesting by putting 3 different options for Parekh with only one being the correct spelling as a fun little challenge for us.

he chimed in yesterday that he won't vote for his son until its time, but when it is time we should be prepared for spreadsheets and video clips promoting his candidacy
