Oh man. I'm sorry to hear that and for your loss.
It's amazing how many folks on here have met him.
I hung out with him and KevanGuy years ago watching a game at a pub and later bought a TV from him. Cool guy.

Sorry to hear about this. I appreciated his dark sense of humor, and no doubt he was a huge Flames fan. Appreciate you sharing this with us Reaper.

Like so many on this board, I never met him.

I did enjoy his posting and sense of humor.

He once posted a video from his home security of someone hopping the fence onto his property with the song "Sound of da Police" by KRS-One dubbed over it. It made me laugh and to this day whenever I hear that song I think of him.

My deepest condolences. I had no idea he passed.

That's sad, I thought about him recently and was wondering where he had gone.

We had some back and forth and DMed a little. Seemed like a good guy. Sometimes good people can have bright or polarizing auras and be less concerned with the social etiquette people expect today, but still have a heart of gold. Just as if someone can walk that tightrope of looking political correct all the time, it doesn't automatically mean they're saints underneath. We all have our rough edges, sometimes they're visible, sometimes they aren't.

Your environment and circumstances shape in a lot of ways and many people have the privilege of not having to experience anything too extreme or adverse from a day to day standpoint. And some people aren't given a choice, and instead try to make the best out of a tough situation. If you can find/make humor out of life's challenges then you're doing better than most.

I think I gave him flak in the van thread only because I really wanted it to be real. And turns out it was, and it was glorious! If it's still around, I hope somebody takes it to the streets when Florida wins.

RIP FG and condolences to his family and friends.

I liked him. He was angry and funny and I enjoyed that. Sorry that you've lost a long time friend.

Sorry to lose a member, and sorry for those who knew him.

But are we going to let it slide that Reaper is giving us this news? I think FG would have wanted that pointed out.

Man, he was a fun poster back in the day. All this makes me wonder how many people passed on here and they didn't have a friend to inform people. Sad.

FG's "pimp my van" thread may go down as one of the best ever made on Cpuck in my humble opinion.

The up's and down's of internet "fame" for willing to go that extra mile for stardom in the Calgary Flames world was polarizing. He was humble yet also opinionated and feisty!

Rest easy FG.

Sorry to hear, he was definitely a unique personality around here. I thought it was weird he hadn’t been around in a while.
