The Flyers have the Flames 2nd rounder this year from the Frost/Farabee trade.
Calgary has the Avs pick in the 2nd round (from the Mangiapane trade via Washington) which will be 54

Unrealistically hopeful:
O'Brien
Reschny
Potter
The Flames would be well served drafting three centers.

My preference is:
1. Center with very high ceiling, try to find your Point/Thomas/Johnston outside of top 10.
2. More defensive minded (Tanev/Bahl) type of dman
3. Big physical middle-six 2 way center (Lowry is a good example here)
1. Cole Reschny
2. Blake Fidddler
3. Mathew Gard

18 Zonnon
29-32 - Horcoff
2nd Rd: Ryabkin/Wang (both may be gone)
Zonnon has the size, skating and IQ, but probably needs the development time. I worry about "QMJHL" sometimes, but I think he will be end up an NHL'er.
Horcoff has the skating, size and IQ, but also the aggression that I think will make him effective as an NHL center. The big question for me is not if he makes it, but what line he plays on. Top line C? I doubt anyone picked this late will blossom into it, but he is just as good of a bet to do so as anyone else. More likely I see him as middle-six center, and a bit "Brady Tkachuk - lite" as his ceiling, a Jordan Greenway as his floor. That's a lot of ground. I think he has the tools to really become an impact player and a core player even if he doesn't produce at a high enough level in the NHL.
Ryabkin - He came in with a lot of hype, and had a disappointing season. Skill is there, but character may not be? Can this be fixed? If it can, you get a top 6 center - perhaps a top-line center. If it can't be, you bust. Flames are deep enough organizationally with middle-six and bottom-six players, but are missing blue-chip players at forward - especially centers. I would take a swing at him if he is still available.
Wang - I am adding Wang here simply because he may be a better pick than Ryabkin. Opposite story to Ryabkin - a late bloomer who is rising. Started playing hockey in China, but it wasn't until he was 12 that he started playing in Canada. He is a very toolsy kid. It is hard not to think of Bahl as a direct comparison. Having Bahl and Wang on the left side is a great compliment to Parekh, Brzustewicz and Mews on the right. Although he hasn't exactly been productive offensively, scouting reports do say that the seems to be developing into a 2-way defencemen, so maybe another similarity to Bahl there.

So realistically, at 18 I’d like Reschny / Cootes / Bear

I didn't realise Martin's stock went up that much, bummer.
I could live with one of those 3, Bear kind of worries me on two fronts, his injury and age.
