My guess is Panthers in 6.

I can see that. The only thing is how much gas the Panthers have left in the tank because Carolina is a really hard skating team.

Should be a hard fought series. Taking the Panthers in 6 but they have played a lot of hockey over the past three seasons and you wonder if they eventually burn out and hit the wall.

Carolina is just so vanilla and don’t have difference makers. Florida should win this one with ease if they play like they did yesterday.

I think the wildcard is actually Bob. He can be pretty awful for stretches.

This one could go all the way, either way or all the either way.

Canes need to take them out early in order to rest for the Oilerz. Canes in 3.

I think the Panthers know better than anyone who they are and what their ceiling is.

Thats scary. When you havent any panic in your game and you can just turn it on and have NO passengers at ALL . You are a champion.

Canes dont have that element .

Its not just the players . Maurice and Zito KNOW theyre roster , buttons to push, words to say, tough love to give and which players to light fires under.

Everyone that hasnt watched Pauls interviews should. He LOVES his roster. Barkov is an amazing captain and leader . The way he descibes his players description of one another and how theyre wired differently. ....that speaks volumes about their organization

I cheer for the cats mostly because of that.

I see that growing within the Flames organization and getting Lomberg back here as a piece of that culture is SO important. I think its a huge change in culture that excited me the most this year with the Flames that i recognized with the Panthers since Maurice joined them.....it may have existed before Maurice got there. I think that made it really hard on Huberdeau and Weegar but makes me glad we've got 3 ex Panthers here .

Go cats Go

If it goes past 5 games Canes are doomed. They need this to be a quick series.

Florida was killed by injuries and suspensions after the 4 nations game. I think they should have comfortably won the division.

Carolina traded a their leading scorer for a guy that didn’t want to be in Carolina and ended up with draft picks and Stankoven.

Wild finish for those 2 teams. Would be fun to see Dallas vs Carolina with the Rantanen storyline.

Canes in 7 - Florida finally runs out of steam. Canes 2025 are built even better than before. Definitely in better shape compared to the sweep that didn't feel like a sweep.

'06 rematch (with Canes winning again) or better yet, Canes vs Dallas with Rantanen storyline / Burns vs Benn last chances, etc.

Svech has 8 goals, and 3 of them are game winners.

All of their regular forwards but Kotka and Carrier have at least a goal. All of their regular blueliners except Orlov have at least a goal.

2nd and 3rd in shots for and 1st and 5th in shots against is how they ranked in the regular season. 7th and 10th in goals against.

2 teams who play a similar system will be interesting to see how this plays out and who can dominate possession.

Wow the bar changes from game 7 to game 1. That’s a pretty weak penalty call

Both of them but especially Bennett

Even if Carolina wins it all, they'll still be that forgotten red-headed step child.

Canes coming out hitting. That was a weak call on Aho after the exchange he had with the FLA player. But Brindamour needs to calm down with freaking out already. Refs will get tired of that stuff pretty quick.
