What are your top5/top10 hated teams in the NHL

Hate the Oilers, hated the Canucks & Ducks for a time but now don't really think about them. Tampa, hard feelings over the franchise but the Bolts of today I don't really hate.

Other teams just tend to irritate me from time to time like the Wild & Blues did this past season.

2. Tampa Bay Lightning. Between both my Flames and Panthers fandom, no other team riles my anger like Tampa does.

3. Vancouver Canucks. Regional rivalry, some interesting playoff series. Had some absolute rats play on their team over the years that pissed me off. Sedins used to light up Calgary every time they played them. Their fans are ####ty.
4. Montreal Canadiens. Cup final rivalry. Their fans are arrogant beyond belief.
5. Utah HC/Mammoth. Why? Because #### them, that's why.

I'm a simple man. I cheer for the Flames. I cheer against the Oilers. I'm really indifferent to the rest, unless it has a direct impact on the Flames like Leafs/Panthers, then I cheer on the Flames best interests.

Pretty much Oilers for my spots 1 to 10.

Here's how much I hate that team. I'm to the point where I'd be ok with the Leafs winning the cup just to enjoy annoying Leaf fans rubbing it in Oiler fan's faces lol.

Living out here, it is impossible to not have friends and acquaintances who are Canuck fans. It funny and a little surprising to me how many actually don’t hate the Flames and even kind of like them. I know a lot of them are also the “Anyone but Edmonton” camp these days.

Oilers more now than I thought possible. Their fans seem to think that they are some well built machine, but they’re just a series of flukes and fortune. Being so bad that you win the lottery 4 times in 8 years? And you still cheer them on? Eat ####

1. Edmonton -- all their sport teams, pro or minor or junior. Hockey and football included. Oh, do they have lacrosse? I hate them too.


Toronto -- same as Edmonton.


Montreal -- same as above.

4. St Louis -- They seem to have our number for many, many years. And recently, that stupid winning streak.


5. Rangers -- their arrogance.

Teams that I extremely dislike borderline hate depends on the day


Vegas -- I cannot decide whether I should hate them or just dislike them. They were gifted a that team, it's the league's fault.



Utah -- because of what they used to be


Minnesota -- Ever since they entered the league, I dislike them very much because of they way they play, boring ass hockey.

It’s actually weird to think about how much I used to hate the Canucks and how irrelevant the Oilers used to be. Now the Canucks are irrelevant and every night before I go to bed I pray that Edmonton gets wiped off the face of the earth.

9. NYR - Big US market, seems to get all the good free agents, Adam Fox, Larry Brooks, they suck.
10. Colorado - always have good teams, should still be the Nords, always have the Flames number.

I believe the first cap circumvention contract was Mikka Kipprosoff, whose 6 year deal had only a $1.5 M last year. He chose to retire and not play out that year. Teams then started pushing the envelope more.

Oilers - doesn't matter where they are in the standings, their fans are arrogant trolls. Only a handful of them are respectful. Can't even like the players.
Leafs - you find out every playoffs, their fans are the biggest cry-babies in the league. During the season they are just plain arrogant.
Canucks - Only when their team is doing well in the standings. Their fans have no reason to be so cocky. Also 1994.
Tampa Bay - 2004, and I'm a partial Panthers fan.
Ducks - When they had Perry and Kesler.
Rangers - Cause of Fox.
I like every other team, but hated Pittsburgh in the 90s cause they always dominated the Flames.

3. Avalanche - Ridiculous success since moving there. More luck getting Makar and McKinnon after wiffing on other high picks
4. Toronto- Annoying mid team, so much coverage. Oh and the Trades.
5.Chicago- slimeball organisation keeps getting rewarded
