Injuries the big story here. But even missing Heiskanen and Robertson, I like the Stars over the Jets. The drop-off from Morrisey to Pionk is much bigger than the drop-off from Heiskanen to Harley.

Outside for game 5 and the 3rd of game 7 which was primarily Rantanen the Stars got dominated by the Avs. It matches the eye test, and Dallas has not looked like a the juggernaut they are talked about.
I can't see Dallas losing this series when they played the way they played without their #1 winger and defenseman.
I would have given the Jets the benefit of the doubt and a huge momentum boost after that comeback win, however, the Stars had a comeback win of their own. It'll be a fun series, but as others have said I don't think it'll be a close series, unless both are perfectly healthy. Morrissey is a huge blow to the Jets.
If Vegas had won the last game against the Grease Pigs, I would be cheering against the Stars. And now, I have to cheer for them because they are getting healthier and Jets are hurts.
I don't want to be too reductive and simplistic here, but this is a really good example of what the Jets needed in Game 3 and 4 against the Blues. They had a really rough start, and they couldn't get a save where they needed it, and the game just completely evaporated away from them. The game was very heavily tilted towards Dallas at the start of the period. Hellebuyck held them in, and the period has ended pretty much even. I think Winnipegs actually had the better scoring chances.
