might be a clue as to who is most banged up, as well as a few UFAs

Weegar I think assuming he was healthy was always likely to play today (IMO) as someone needs to help support the 2 new kids a little

Bad news Los Angeles....the Wranglers are in town! I mean...the Flames are in town...

Kind of a weird game. Play the children but...dont hurt the Kings, they need to be healthy and in good shape in order to slaughter the Oilers.

Call it kafkaesque, but I really want the Flames to win and get 2 points tonihgt. They can say they tied STL and only missed due to RW tiebreak, pretty muchas in as you can be without getting in. Frustrating but since the elimination is done, what's the difference? Might as well go with the approach that they were likely just one or two shots away.

If I'm making predictions already for next season, I say we have primarily the same team, minus some guys who can walk, along with some fresh blood led by Parekh and maybe a couple free agent signings for guys who can fit in quickly.

This will be a playoff team next year, perhaps #3 in Pacific. After how close they came this year they will be galvanized from day one to ensure they don't let those points slip away. Plus Parekh on 3 on 3 should help that stat.

I really wish this game counted for something like I thought it would. My heart would be pumping and work would be hard to do with all the adrenaline. But alas, not meant to be. Bring on the 2025-26 Flames, can't wait for October!

Back to tonight though, will be cool to see the first NHL gamers go.

And another huge thanks to Cheese for these GDT's, always enjoy seeing those all season long.

Also if Weegar is playing his off side why not pair him with Parekh? Odd.

It’s up to them. Don’t put up a fight and live to fight another day.

That, or #### them let’s smash the Kings up!

Bahl - Parekh

Probably the first time two players of Indian heritage are a D pairing?

Really? That’s so cool!

I’m stoked for this game tonight, but feeling really good about the Flames future.

History is not always an indicator of the future. Just because we’ve been here too many times in the past, doesn’t mean the next couple of years will be in futility. I see progress and a great pipeline. All I want is consistent playoffs, year over year, and it feels like Conroy is focus on achieving that.

Let’s complain about winning a cup after we’ve had a taste of 4-5 playoff runs.

Lets dress all the kids and pound the Kings.

That would make me feel warm and fuzzy

Thanks for all of your work doing these threads all season Cheese!

I've always said....get him out of the CPHL, and the Cheese is a hell of a good guy!

Can not wait to see the rooks go tonight. I wish Wolf was in for win #30 on his rookie season but no big deal.

I sure wish this game meant something. F*** the Ducks.

Tie breaker should be a head to head winner gets in. Think baseball does that.

Bahl-Parekh is our pairing of the future! Love that.

I think Kuznetsov-Brustewicz also has potential.
