Firstly, I expect Chicago wouldn't have minded that much if they ended up with Demidov anyway.
And secondly, query whether Chicago would have tried harder to not tank so much if they didn't have their pick this year.
Chicago clearly wanted the RH dman who looks like a long term #1 dman very badly, enough to pass on Demidov. But they were clearly
conflicted on it.
But their pick isn't very likely to be #1, that's more of a long shot. 13.5%
It's more likely to be 3 or 4 than 1 or 2. 72.4 % of being one of those. 14.1% of being #2.
