Yeah I've had about enough of this stupid points system. Reg wins should be 3 pts.

That was a nice pass, horrible break down from the Blues left that whole side wide open. Oilersesque

Honestly it probably doesnt matter...Flames have to pass whoever is in the WC anyway. 9th or 10th is irrelevant. Still crazy. Blues player could have ended it and dumped it into the bench instead of deep.

The chances of the Flames passing the Blues but being 1 point back of the Canucks in the end is very low. Still, bunch of clowns. 3-2-1 point system please.

Flames have 2 games in hand, chances are not very low.

We could be tied in points with the Blues and win the tiebreak, yet still finish a point behind the Canucks. It's a depressing scenario that I don't want to spend any time thinking about.

I get it but if the Flames play well enough to pass the Blues I doubt the Canucks are one point ahead of them. Obviously I would rather they didnt tie it but its likely not worth worrying about.

Not a great outcome but better that the blues won at least.

They can't do that because two points for a win is the old, accepted tradition in hockey and cannot ever be changed.

Whereas deciding games with shootouts instead of actually playing hockey is just tickety-boo and doesn't go against tradition at all.

Two-point wins are a hell of a hill for the league to die on.

Tanev hits the post picks up the rebound off the post and backhands it into the net. Evan Bouchard stands beside him and watches him but does not touch him. What an idiot.
