The Oscars are a pageant that the Lizard-Men put on just to throw us off their scent!

Sorry Sean, Brody used all your time, hurry up and get off the stage.

I don’t watch nearly as many movies as I used to and have no interest in a couple of the nominees but I really wish I’d seen Anora already.

Huge fan of Adrien Brody and his girlfriend is absolutely gorgeous, but I have to wonder what they hell she was thinking marrying Harvey Weinstein.

Anora cleaning up. Good on it. Great movie! I saw it twice. Although I was mildly uncomfortable seeing it with my Mom, so I made sure my wife was sitting between us.

I didn't hate the 007 tribute, although definitely too long. The performances were great though. Had no idea Qualley could dance like that. That's not an easy thing to throw together, good on her.

Feel like Conan has enough Jack White pull to have landed him and Alicia Keys to do Another Way To Die. That movie's not great, but I'd love to watch them perform that live.

When I saw the trailer for Anora I predicted it would win Best Picture. Amelia Perez dropped the ball, so here we are.

Hm. I just re-watched the trailer for 'Anora' and my buddy got married at a chapel less than a block away from there two weeks ago. So...that's interesting.

I liked Anora but definitely didn’t see this coming. Mikey’s performance was good as well but thought Demi deserved it more.

I was sure that they were giving it to Demi but I liked Mikey in Anora much more.

Overall well deserving wins, no f ups.

Sean Baker is amazing, his earlier films The Florida Project and Red Rocket are both amazing and top recommends from me (if that means anything lol). Anora is getting a physical release from Criterion soon, will need to watch it right away.

I heard there was no tribute to David Lynch? Wild.

Not a separate tribute but Lynch was in the "In Memoriam" montage.

Was wondering, when that ghoul Bill Cosby dies do you think the Oscars include him?

I thought they'd give Gene Hackman more than the usual 15 second tribute. I know it was a sudden passing, but for a Hollywood mainstay who won multiple Oscars I thought he'd get additional recognition.
