Phew, he messaged me a few months ago when I posted a thread looking for tickets to a sold out concert. Had a story about wanting to go but something coming up, but also didn't seem to know anything about the artist or tickets. Just that I could etransfer him $100 and he'd send them to me.

I feel bad for the person who was trying to honestly buy some Roughnecks tickets.

IP address appears to be unique. I can dig a little more tonight when I get home. I do see the contact phone number that was used was from Washington state, and they did respond to the confirmation text we sent within a matter of minutes.
That is usually a good sign, as about 95-98% of the new registrations we get are not legit. (Like 90-95% are obvious bots and/or scammers.)

Do they though? Not sure how the US is for that stuff but here you can provide email address only, no phone number if you don't want. And I'd imagine if he's a career scammer he uses throw away email accounts for this stuff.
