Barrie should be Nick Grossmanned.

Hrudey raving about Nylander's 'charisma' and relaxed approach? I couldn't stand the guy on that amazon prime episode. He just oozed arrogant d-bag vibes in that show.

Still pisses me off that Bahl is still out on what the assclowns of this league determined was a two minute penalty.

They certainly didn't play the Leafs the same way they played the Kraken.

Opened things up, rushed decisions, odd pinches, lost assignments.

Don't know what they were thinking, but there's no need to give the Leafs special treatment. They have to stick to the system that's put them in a playoff position.

They didnt dictate the Flames making crazy pinches in a tie game

I think Grossman may have played this game better than Barrie did.

The Flame really miss Bahl. When he’s in the lineup the D slot more appropriately and there is no room for Barrie in any capacity. Huberdeau battled hard but forced a pass or two that turned into costly turnovers. On a positive note I think Frost-Sharky-Pospisil is the best 3rd line the Flames have had all season. Backlund is still relevant for his faceoffs and defensive acumen but how much more productive could Coleman and Coronato be with a quicker center that doesn’t continually throw pucks at the goalies crest?

Silver lining is the Flames can catch the Avs too

Weird game. I would not be upset if that's the end of Barrie and Bean. There has to be some better option out there. Bahl back soon will be welcome.

They need a better option than Rooney as well. I sure hope Backlund heals over the break because he is looking very timid out there.

The team looked tired after the busy schedule with travel. I wonder if they will practice or rest tomorrow.

One day.. one day that puck will go through the crest and out the other side to win the game in OT.. You'll see!

I want to see what we can be with some young & fresh stay at home D filling out the defense pairings.

Give Crushnikov and Kuznetsov a shot, please.

Only player that showed up tonight I felt was Kadri. You can see how he is a ‘big game’ player. He demanded the puck on his stick and kept trying to make something out of nothing.

Hope both Trei and MacFarland are licking their lips at the hopes of adding him at the deadline for a massive overpay.

When I was a season-ticket holder, I sold my tickets for Leafs and Habs games because I couldn't stand being around that many obnoxious, drunken fans of the visiting team. People would actually yell abuse at me for daring to cheer for the team I was paying to see. Nuts to that.

Media questioning Huska specifically about Barrie's pinch and if a d-man should make that play... Huska not taking the bait. Barrie was obviously stand-out bad in that game for all to see.

Didn't really notice it but I suppose you're right. 65.6% xGF. Only four Flame players were above water on that measure. Only one Leaf player was below 45% (Pacioretty).

It's plain to see. The game has passed Barrie by. His legs are totally gone (walked by Reaves who also has no business being in the NHL anymore LOL). He has NOTHING left in him.

Time to let him go.

And the Flames 4th line is little short of an unmitigated disaster.

It is a bit shocking to see so many Leafs fans in the building, especially at the end chanting “Go Leafs Go”. Other than maybe Phoenix I can’t recall seeing a fan takeover like this in my life. Not trolling. Just very disheartening. Why is this happening?

The flames always have more opposing team fans than any other team in the league. Look at when the Oilers, Canucks or any eastern Canadian team play here. It’s embarrassing!! Tonight was basically a road game. I’ve never understood it.

Not to mention that we are spending far more than league minimum for Barrie and Rooney. Why is beyond me.

There's a reason why they bailed from where they're from and went to Calgary.
