As much as I am against what’s going on, booing and anger is the desired outcome. He lives and thrives off sowing division, anger, hate and chaos. If we do this he will use and weaponize it against us the way he does his own people. He’s divided their country against one another tremendously. We Canadians are used to storms and can hunker down to weather this one, but we shouldn’t give in to the petty game of hating our neighbours cause it will only escalate problems.

Chances of booing the US anthem in Calgary making any negative impact within the organization, notably with our American team members (Conroy, Coronato, Wolf, Coleman, Farabee, etc)? Far higher than zero.

While the concept of an anthem is pretty ridiculous when you think about it (let's all sing a jaunty national song together), booing it at a hockey game is not the way forward.

As a Canadian, I am a big fan of so many things that have been innovated by the USA. I'm not booing the things I love there because of the people who have been fooled by that adderall snorting dementia riddled con artist.
