I really didn't think about this dynamic until you brought this up. Roy will not stand idly by if something starts to happen. I remember the KHL coach screaming "FU" at DeAngelo in some twitter vids when DeAngelo left the team.

Maybe Roy will leave him out there as goal after goal goes in. And when he finally gets a break, he does the obligatory drive by with threats to the GM.
