As for Coronato looking good and having success on Backlund's line... yeah, everyone does. But Coronato has outgrown that line - he's actually scoring more proficiently than they are now, and his defense is now at the point where he can play anywhere (he doesn't need their protection anymore). I would like to see him get better offensive line-mates - either Huberdeau, or Zary's line (when he comes back).

And Pelletier is ready to graduate to Backlund's line.

I’m not a fan of Coronato with Kadri. Kadri is a bit of a puck hog so I don’t think there is a fit with Coronato who gets better and generates more chances when he carries the puck. Huberdeau and Posposil work with Kadri because neither of them seem to want to be the one that carries the puck up the ice as much. Zary I think could work really well with Coronato though.

Was this from today's practice!? Amazing. Lombo and Kuzy as ambassadors.

I think it would add another layer of danger to the line.

You know Kadri can drive the play but having Coronato on that line provides Hubey with the option to pass the puck to a player who can score from the rush and from a distance.

The opposition would have to be aware of where Coronato is at all times when facing that line. Right now, when Hubey has the puck teams simply double team him, often sliding the player from Pospisil to Kadri and sliding (or cheating when playing zone) the other player from Kadri to Hubey thus taking away his options. You can't do that with Coronato, he can make them pay for leaving him open.

It's essentially about options for me, which I believe that both Pelts and Coronato bring more of than Pospisil when combined with Kadri and Huberdeau.

Top line, needs a player that gets into the corners, Pelts is not the guy,
Pospisil fits well with the other two. Great forechecker
