That's.. well, that's disrespectful and demeaning to candlelight vigils for one.

Hoping it's fake.

I think the shot keeper in Edmonton is drunk. Every time I look up they have taken a shot or two away from the Caps and added a couple of shots to the Oilers total.

This game is like a funeral. They can't stop talking about Connor Boy.

I remember CP having a stage 13 meltdown when Eric Staal broke Johnny's hand. This is no different. The NHL needs to do a better job of protecting the players that pay the bills.
Bruh, that is entirely different. He literally injured Gaudreau so he could not play...for a long time too. Not only that, it affected his most valuable attribute which was his hands.

Last time I checked, McDavid was able to play the very next shift. I don't see how breaking the hands of a superstar with an intentional stick foul (it was clearly their game plan as it happened several times that game) is comparable to a little tussle on the ice with the clock winding down. Oh, and yeah, as others pointed out, Gaudreau didn't do anything illegal in return, and definitely nothing that could be considered dangerous or suspension worthy.

Come on dude, get a clue.

It would have been nice if Dubios had that effort last year in the playoffs.

The point is the league doesn't do enough to protect their stars. If you can't see that, then there is no helping you.

And of course they score. Should that not have been challenged for a missed stoppage?

I agree. The league doesn’t do enough to protect guys like Connor Garland. McDavid should have been suspended for 5+ for that trash.
