I know it won’t happen because the Jets are a good well coached team, but it would be great if they took the flames lightly and as a result got lit up. That would make up for the St. Louis fiasco. We need that Flames and Flames fans, both.
I agree 100% with Pinder here: love Andersson , the person, the player, the leader, he loves the city and wants to be here - everything about him says you want to sign a guy like that EXCEPT his career timeline doesn't align with the Flames' timeline. And as a result, trading him is better for the organization.
Then Scorp poses the question: if you do sign him, is his contract movable in 3 years? To that, I would say: almost certainly (unless his play has fallen off the table, which seems unlikely). HOWEVER, he would not be worth nearly as much at that point, at $8 or $9M is he is now. Not even close. So again, the answer is that it is best to trade him now. Also, the assets you would get now, FIT the timeline the Flames are currently trying to navigate.

Given that the St Louis b2b and this game were probably scheduled losses, winning this game would get us back on track from losing the last game, which most were probably hoping to pencil in as a win.
I want to make my first bet ever tonight with one of the apps.
Which one would you guys recommend?
Whatever is easiest just to drop $20 on the Flames.
You're in Ontario so you have options. I personally like Draft Kings the best, but probably if you're just starting, go with whichever gives you the biggest boost on your initial deposit.

Huska hinting at changes now. Not on game 2 of the B2B. Now. Better late than never I guess but the Jets are the stronger team and not where I’d start a weaker line up but hey you do you

I agree, should have made changes last game. Given the performance last game, I don’t know that whatever we ice could be called a weaker line up.
Hanley looked like a tire fire the last couple games. A change up there may or may not help but based on play, not sure you can call it weaker. The fourth line also has not performed well recently. Duehr has looked more like Do-not-much to me. Not sure we have a substitute to help that but personally would like to see Stromgren up and in that spot for a few games. Rooney has played some better hockey recently but the Blues pushed him around and he didn’t keep pace. Again, not sure we have better options but there are spots where changing things up might not make us weaker.
