I hope Vladar plays again tonight. He played great last game and deserves another shot. Give Wolf a run afterwards.

I feel like the flames play with more confidence when Wolf is in net so hopefully he gets the start tonight

Unless he's sick or injured, Wolf starts tonight.

AFTER the terrible rebound to Parayko who shoots from a pretty bad angle and it goes in 15 seconds into the game. Great!

He wasn't bad after that, but that goal, or something similar always seems to happen with Vladar. His rebound control is AHL level. I can see him on waivers soon if they can't trade him.

I know he has had the harder starts, but at what point are his number indicative of the goalie that he is? I'm not seeing any upside anymore. He is a bottom half of the league backup at this point.

If you are serious about playoffs, you gotta ride Wolf. Need to make up some ground on the Blues and especially Canucks before Demko is back and before Petey & Miller settle their differences.

I'm having a deja blu. Hopefully this time the Flames won't make it as easy on Hofer as they did on Bennington.

Go Flames!

Would rather see Kuzmenko than Duehr, but whatever.

He didn't rebound to Parayko (goal was at 49 seconds BTW). Parayko got it after a bounce off of Hanley.

Guess which Flame goalie let in the first shot in their previous game?

I thought Duehr had a good game last time out. Also I don't think Kuzmenko can fit in on the 4th line. So either Pelletier or Kerins has to move down and Kuzmenko takes their spot on the third line.

I think sometimes we get too rigid on what a 4th line can or can't be

Why is Kuzmenko still on the roster? Just 1 goal and he doesn't do anything else to justify his spot. Are they just going to scratch him until the season is done? Waive him and let him see if he can figure it out with the Wranglers.

Beat them 1-0 in their own barn.

I agree they can be lots of things. But right now it has Lomberg and Rooney on it. So it's a defensive grinding line.

Thought he struggled in the 1st, rebound control was all over the place...

It was a game of low amount of scoring chances for both teams.

Neither goalie, was outstanding

Kuzmenkos scoring talent I think is suffering the same way it did in Vancouver when Tocchet took over. He works hard, it's visible I just don't think he's a fit within the teams system.

Wonder if Tyson Barrie will ever play an NHL game again.

This is a challenge for all goalies who haven't seen game action in a while. Game speed can't be replicated during practices. It isn't surprising that he improved as the game went along.

I think what they're doing in regards to splitting the starts is the smarter play.

Who really cares about the playoffs? If this Flames team makes it in...its going a short trip.

They seem to be more concerned with the 'long game' which appears to be the wiser decision.
