Hughes actually is just a nice player to watch, similar to Makar in that sense where the zone exits are incredibly smooth and with his skating abilities he manages to change the pace of the game. It is actually quite remarkable to watch him play the game. I am biased as I do like the Canucks, but I think that as I have gotten older I don't dislike opposing teams or players as much but I can appreciate their skills.

The entire Canucks team revolves around Hughes and his ability to move a puck out of the defensive zone, making quick decisions, and gaining offensive zone entry.

Similar to watching any elite player play, same reason I enjoyed watching Gaudreau or Iginla, they just made it look easy.
