Draft Order set on post 2.

BigRangy is up with the 1st pick

no time limit on picks, but try and not take longer then 24 hours to make your pick. We've been good in past so lets keep that rolling.

With the first overall pick, the Edmonton Oilers I'm honestly a little disappointed to select:

Gabe Perrault F USA

He's led pretty much every tournament he's played in in scoring, but never really exploded, and with usual running mate Smith now in the NHL this could be a bit of a trap pick.

Probably a touch early with this but nevertheless:
Gavin Mckenna - F - CAN

I think the biggest risk with McKenna is Team Canada galaxy braining their player deployment and leaving him as the 13th forward for reasons or whatever. Guy's definitely the nastiest talent on the team. If he ends up solidly on PP1 and in the top 6 I expect he'll lead the team in scoring.

I guess my “oh #### they wanted to start yesterday!” realization and panic scroll was unnecessary….

Hockey, I hope you didn’t anti-rig it for yourself… we trust you!

Thats exactly how I saw it. Was debating between him and Leonard who will have a huge tournament himself. I’ve historically gone Americans/returning euros early so nice to take a chance on a Canadian even if the hype doesn’t fully pan out this year because of the powers that be.

I genuinely have no idea who to pick next. I don't love many of the Canadians this year and it feels like the star power in this tournament is much lower than usual. Should make for a very interesting pool.

Came to say the same thing, it’s going to come down to who you think will go the furthest and I don’t think it’s Canada.

Finland is weak this year, Sweden is “ok” and the US have some good firepower but I see you guys have loaded up on that already.

I feel like this could be the year the CZE make a big run, they’ve got a sneakily good well rounded roster and are always well coached. They play like a team rather than flashy players all trying to do it themselves.

Would never do that. Dice roll was 4, so randomized list 4 times and unfortunately ended up picking last

Actually, all the Canadian 16 year olds have done quite well with the exception of Spezza (2 assists in 7 games) and Campbell (1 point). McDavid didn't light it up (4 points) but the others all did.

Just out of curiosity does anyone have a link to all the teams final rosters, or is it just google search and hope for the best?
