Bennett with a big hit leading to a fight where he hands Ferraro his lunch. That guy is on another level when it comes to old school hockey.

Montembault providing strong goaltending for the Habs, 2-1 Montreal.

Bobrovsky with the win (despite a last minute spoiler of his shutout bid), that puts him into sole possession of 11th place all time in wins for a goaltender. He has a real shot at #10 this year as he is 15 wins behind Tony Esposito.

Pretty good win percentage too as he has 408 wins in 718 games.

Quick poll, is he an automatic hall of famer when he retires?

Yes. He's been phenomenal when games matter the last couple of years. Although I would credit Maurice and his system more with Bob being able to establish his game again.

Your win list is a bit off though, I saw on the broadcast that he was 9th I think. Maybe I'm wrong but it wasn't double digits because I kept thinking he can end up at 7th if he stays with the Panthers next year.

Is there a single intermission on HNIC where they don't suck up to the Oilers? Doesn't matter who is playing they always seem to praise something Oilers related.

Oilers thoroughly outplayed in the first period. Perry gets a fluke goal that may or may not have been kicked in and the four clowns are just having a great time playing up their golden boys.

Boring game between two garbage teams in Edmonton. Blues are only down by 1 though, so hopefully they can find some offence and beat these chumps.

Big ####ing deal. The ref lost sight of the puck and the ref blew this whistle. No goal. Shouldn't even be a need to talk it over, but they will for fear of upsetting the leagues biggest crybabies.

Louie: well they obviously don’t want guys poking at it while it’s near the goalie.

Oh ya they didn’t care when it was STL poking at Vladar to decide a game.

So Skinner is allowed to run interference while outside his crease and when he is knocked down it's a penalty. League is a ####ing joke.

Oh goody!!! The between periods Oilers circle jerk!! Luke Gazdic annoys the crap out of me and he looks and sounds like Justin Trudeau so that doubly pisses me off.

Oilers record against non-playoff teams: 12-3 (will be 13-3 after tonight)

Oilers record against playoff calibre teams: 3-8

And yet the dips***s at SN and every Canadian hockey media outlet are constantly proclaiming these losers the Cup favourites. It's beyond ridiculous at this point.
