And you know exactly what they were feeling because you had been tripped like that, too.

Best part of being a kid was stuff like that. Try it now and they'd probably end up in the hospital and your entire friend group would hate your guts.

What do you miss that you'll never be able to do again (no sappy bs like 'hug my dad' or something lame, please)?
Along a similar theme, popping someones seat quick release on a long tiring bike climb. Or squeezing their V-brakes to lock their rear tire and kill their momentum, causing a topple over. I don't remember the last time I did this, but I do remember it was entirely satisfying.

Yep. Same here. But IMO, shots of pure hard alcohol are fine, especially if I can just drink a lot of water afterwards. It's anything sugary that truly really screws me up with headaches even before I go to bed.

It's the clubbing facet I cannot do. The night starts at 11PM AND we're going to be doing cardio for hours? #### that. If I'm not in bed and hanging out with someone, I want somewhere comfy to lounge... like a sofa.

I think I'm almost at the point I'd rather play rugby for the first time with friends and get tackled half a dozen times, than get tanked and go clubbing at midnight.

I remember trying to do this to a friend as a kid and totally whiffing... but his attempt to block it ended up tapping the brake enough for a hilarious effect.

I miss eating with reckless abandon. I used to crush 2 medium Dominos pizzas or a box of 12 Tim's with no consequences.

Now - even looking at a donut adds 3 lbs.

I find I can do pretty much everything the same, just have to be a bit more careful to not wipe out or strain too hard doing so. Not made of rubber like before.

Just have to stay in shape, eat properly and go to bed on time.

Fear not, it's not like your hearing, where you become unable to hear certain frequencies as you get older. 20-something titties don't reflect a different spectrum of light that becomes impossible to see after your eyes age. There's hope for you yet.

porn, or strippers isn't the same as coming home from a college party with a perky class mate.

on that note don't get me wrong, women in their 30s, 40s are beautiful lots to enjoy about that.

no less, when I was a little younger

Ah, you've found the one that I don't regret being too old to do again.

But for the amount that pointless #### gets brought up at family get togethers I guess maybe it's just me that's too old, my parents and older extended family sure haven't hit that mark.

Food in general for sure. Have to be so mindful of my food now if I don't want to feel like garbage.

Another one:

Hear complete silence. Tinnitus has guaranteed I will always have something to listen to, unfortunately. I suppose at a certain point I might get old enough to hear nothing at all, but that's a different type of gear grinder...

Still a little care when it comes to family. That's the next hurdle. They might not be around that long so either way it won't matter soon.

I've come to terms with the knowing that I'll never hear "I'm proud of you" come from their mouths while they're here.

Some things you just have to learn to give to yourself.
