1-0 refs in Vancouver. Disgusting.

Yeah that was a soft holding call. Plus they easily could have been called for tripping before the goal

Where has Elias Pettersson's game gone? He has pulled a Huberdeau.

Elias Pettersson in 2023-2024 before signing his massive $92.8 million contract - 75 points in 62 GP or 1.21 PPG

Since signing the contract - 14 points in 20 GP (23/24) plus 5 points in 12 GP. Total 19 points in 32 games or 0.59 PPG

Huberdeau since joining the Flames - 0.66 PPG

I will say it again, if the Oilers didn’t have good luck, they would have no luck at all.

Looks like one of the early bird prizes for the oilers 50/50 is a signed Henrique jersey. That’s funny. What’s the other prize? Soiled toilet paper?

Louie still has to point out missed calls that would have benefited the oilers, even though his own son is on the Canucks.
As I type this I see 53 on the oilers get away with a cross check. Homer Louie didn’t mention it.

Nucks losing their games in hand isn't too terrible. Have to forget it's against the stinkin oil.

A combeack win with no OT/SO would be hilarious too.

Dumbnell nurse strikes again. Looks confused in the penalty box there. His normal state of mind.

This is actually an entertaining game. It’s added fun to know the best outcome is the oilers losing and the worst outcome is still ok- Canucks losing.

Shoot out the lights hockey in Denver.
It was 1-0 Hurricanes after twenty minutes. The second period had both teams score seven goals. This battle of natural disasters is 5-4 for Colorado in the third period!

First time I’ve watched a Canucks game this year and have to say I like how this Sherwood kid plays. He hit about three oilers on that last shift- pissy included.
