Fun game. Two tank points, sucks that they came against the Oilers.

The Oilers didn't look impressive at all though. They barely win a game of bounces against a rebuilding Flames team.

The Flames are in the part of the cycle now where losing is expected and will help in the future. But goddamn do I hate losing to the coilers. That cannot be part of the program.

Culprits:

-Slow start
-Pospisil's lack of discipline
-Rooney the supposed PK specialist losing his man completely

Will let the bench minor go since they did great with the 5 on 5 EN situation.

Best not to start by spotting your arch-rivals two goals in the first few minutes. Ugly.

Oh well. Good effort for the most part. Didn't give up. Hate the Oilers.

LOL! Vladar gave us a chance to beat the Oilers. He made numerous great saves in the game.

Excellent bench management at the end there by Huska.

Hard to win going down 2-0. Glad they made a game of it.

I thought that the Flames were in that one. Could have gone either way.

One thing I noticed this game was how the Flames players skate through so much that would always result in an Oilers player flying to the ice looking for a call.

They don't like the physical play by the Flames defence.

Are you suggesting Huska is to blame for the too many men penalty?

Multiple people did in the GT. Someone missed a cue, I doubt it was the coach throwing a guy out without a man coming back.

Good game. Flames were resilient again. Could have gone either way.

You just have to take the positives out of this loss.

A bad start with losing some coverage, but I thought that they recovered well after that and put up a fight. Did really well at the end of the game to put the pressure on, and made it really interesting.

Mantha with a goal to help increase his trade value.

Vladar was solid. Coronato was 'on' tonight and was consistently on I thought. Lots of strong performances from players. Pospisil will feel bad about this one, as he should but he will learn. Also, can't send him down - he needs waivers (and has for a while) and there's no way he goes unclaimed. He has been taking unnecessary penalties lately, but let's not overreact and fire him into the sun. He is still a very effective player most of the time, but just needs to adjust again in not taking bad careless and lazy penalties.

Our goalies need to make more saves then their goalies.

Flames start on time and it's definitely a W.

Don't know why these guys aren't ready to go with that opponent.

Still, what is bad is that nobody noticed. It wasn’t a split second after bad change, it was 6 skaters far from the bench and fully engaged in the play
