Kirkland is at 9 games played. One more and he has to clear waivers to be sent down again. Might be about keeping roster flexibility for now.

Think

Tanking is in progress.

Rooney is a certified tank commander? Didn’t he skate the wrong direction 😝

After the last 2 games this game is be relegated to a secondary screen but I do plan to watch. I have hopes the team will get up after the last 2 duds and hoping to put a few past Markstrom.

Last two games were terrible. Vegas and Salt Lake were kicking our asses on faceoffs. Both teams overmatched them.

Yeah, give Barrie the wrong start-time or something and move along without him.

The only reason I can think of to play him is to save prospects from soul-crushing defeats.

From what I've seen I've thought Bean looked decent, surprised he's sitting....but I haven't been watching much. Anyone have a view?

They're doing Backlund's silver stick ceremony before the game, right? Will it be televised?

They should show it. Sportsnet has the game at 7, Steinberg mentioned the Flames are planning an 8 minute ceremony (oddly specific time but ok, why not make it 11) and I think he said puck drop was expected around 7:15. It was on the first hour of Flames Talk yesterday I believe.

They will get their ass kick again tonight. Lose this one and beat the Oilers next game. I will be okay with it.

May be try to score a goal in a PP?
