Horrible, shameful, disgusting bunch of losers. Murray should have moved the team to Houston when he had the chance.

Am I doing this right?

If I was the coach I’d start burying floaters like mantha deep in the bowels of the pressbox.

There are probably a half dozen forwards whose names I didn’t hear once all night.

I'm not mad either, we all expected a terrible season.

Huska's weak attempts to look like an NHl coach sometimes are growing a little tiresome. He seriously has the worst line blender I've ever witnessed. I thought Sutter's was bad.

Vegas a legit cup contender? Not sure about that lol.

I'd put money on the Leafs in a playoff series vs. VGK.

Huberdeau back to 2022-23 and 2023-24 version of himself. Just a ghost out there. What was he doing chumming it up with Aidan Hill when it was 5-0? Gotta find a way to get this guy off the team.

Laughed at the blender comment

Those third period lines were bad on paper and worse on the ice

Unbelievably frustrating.

The goal is to ship him off somehow eventually. Likely 2-3 more years of this before the Flames can afford to unload his contract with a ton of sweetener.

Huberdeau chumming it up with Hill at the end reminds me of how much I can’t stand watching baseball when the players all look like they’re hanging with their friends. Fight to the death on the ice and then go for beers after the game, that’s the hockey culture I cheer for.

I’m not gonna say it, but I’m gonna say it. The Flames did this to Bennett’s early days, and it mangled his development.

Drafted him as a Centre.
Played him as a Wing.
Kicked him all around the roster, and didn’t embrace him when he earned it.

Play Zary at centre. Conroy has said himself that Zary has said he wants to play centre, so play him at centre. You drafted him as one, he wants to be one, and he’s your most consistent player.

Embrace Zary, and the rest of the youth. Quit this Joel Hanley/Kevin Rooney horse!@#$.

Right?!!. Like WTF?

Team was playing bad, not sure on the exact math of it but I could've come up with at least 73 better line combos. On my couch, 2 beers in and maybe a joint.

That's the first real stinker of a game by Bahl. Not only was his xGF and possession numbers around 31% but I thought he got caught standing around and not moving the guy screening Vladar on the first goal and then he completely lost Kolesar on the third goal. I generally like him a lot but this game he was pretty bad.

Hanley and Pachal did well against the Jets but it doesn't seem like they are a very good third pairing.

Miromanov had a weirdly strong individual game in a 5-0 defeat. Great possession numbers and a few noteworthy defensive plays. Hopefully he can keep that up.

Zary was really fun to watch but he must be frustrated with all the close calls lately. The one shift at the end of the second period with Zary-Kadri-Pospisil was fun although they couldn't keep it up in the third.

Tough loss and tough to watch. If the Pospisil at C experiment is over then I'd love to see Zary get a run with Huberdeau and Sharangovich.

I don't know what they should do with Mantha. I'm already waiting for the trade deadline on that one.

Yeah no real fire or desire to at least show the team that he cares.

Good for Schwindt but he hasn't been doing much for them before this game. Not much ice time and only one assist before tonight.

He can play centre and win faceoffs though, there is that. It does seem kind of silly that a rebuilding team can't find a place for him, but a contending team can. Hopefully Conroy doesn't give up much if he does bring in a depth center.

This.

Zary is a C. He thinks like a C, and played C most of his life. So skilled too. I'd like to see him between Kuzmenko and Sharangovich.

Sharangovich - Zary - Kuzmenko
Huberdeau - Kadri - Coronato
Pospisil - Backlund - Coleman
Lomberg - Kirkland - Mantha

Most talented players all in the top 6.
Pospisil on the Backlund/Coleman line just another huge problem to teams 1st lines.

Add in Mantha to your poop list please.

I think those lines were to send a message in a game that was long over.

Well, I sat through that #### show live. Zary was fun to watch.

I hope the play better against the Utah Clubbers because I am going to that game also.

I’d scrub mantha and insert honzek or another young player that cares.

Send a message to who?

Not sure anyone got the memo though.

You don't send a message by ####ing with the entire decent start. This just sends the wrong message IMO, and I'd argue some of the Flames players would agree with me.
