Any news on Sharky? Is it long term or short term?

Ryan Pike says still on IR, considered week-to-week.

Was Miromanov a healthy scratch last game, or was it injury/illness related?

It might be a while before Barrie gets back in the lineup, that wasn't great.

someone did but then it became another thread on the best way to tank and/or build a championship team.

back on track - can't wait for Sharky to get back and for the team to get used to each other and the system....will be a really fun team to watch this year.

You missed the informative/hilarious response from Locke like 5 replies up.

Good question tho.

Let's everyone actually play their preferred wings and I think Kadri could use some time with Zary who he has proven chemistry with.
Kuzmenko is Russian. I can almost guarantee you that LW is his preferred wing.

At some point when injured guys come back Hanley is going to have to be reviewed. Do you keep him around adding zero value or do you keep guys like Honzek and Costco letting them gain valuable experience with the big club.

Hanley is the one player that has added nothing to the equation so far. I would use that spot when the roster is healthy to roll young guys through to spell players off and to gain experience.

I’d guess sprained knee if there’s a pool.

Zary is a natural center and could look good between Huby and Mantha.
I agree that Pospisil looks better on the wing, he can affect the game more from there. I also think Zary looks less effective at C, though as the defensive responsibilities neuter his offensive game a bit.

Pospisil is taking time to transition to centre and I think he’s done ok
I feel like he’s a guy who we still don’t fully know on his potential ceiling
The ascent has been very fast and to be honest he continues to impress me
Hard to believe a year ago we aren’t even talking about him being an NHLer

If it's between Hanley and Honzek, I send Honzek down. He has zero experience in the AHL, and I'd rather see him at a level where he can produce and play hard minutes than a level where he's in over his head.

If it's between Hanley and Kirkland, I probably send Hanley down.

Wing position only matters in the D zone. His strength is in the o zone where he can roam, he’s not a North south player

Given that he's a right shot, I'd rather have him on RW in the defensive zone anyway.

Officially, he was a healthy scratch. But of course, that doesn't preclude the possibility of being banged up a bit as well.
