Weird they looked at that that long, seemed like an easy call.

Those ones are confusing because you can't intentionally direct it to the net but if it's just unintentional it can count...

I can't remember who headed the puck into the net and had it called back a couple years ago.

Still think as long as it's not batted with a hand it should count.

They reviewed it because they couldn't believe Huberdeau scored in back-to-back games

Painfully obvious the announce crew doesn’t know the rule on directing the puck. If this is an NFL telecast, they’re quoting the exact rule and bringing in an officiating “expert”.

They just don’t seem to care much about the quality of their product. The NHL should press them on this if they want to bring in new fans.

Flames score. NHL must review it to see if there is any way to call it back. Good goal! 1 - 0 good guys.

No way the call should have taken that long - there is no way in hell Huby ever intentionally directs a puck into the goal.

It was more of a reactive shrug/duck/arms up thing from Huby when a puck comes flying towards your face which made it look like he directed the puck towards the goal.

If that move by Huska gets both underperforming wingers to get to the level they're capable of simply by putting them with the energetic and aggressive Pospisil, you have to consider him an absolute genius of a coach.
