He was incredibly normal and relatable. Probably the least closed off of the ones I have seen so far, other than Landeskog who is a good dude.

Contrasted to McDavid, who is a ####ing weirdo.

I haven't seen all the McDingle episdoes yet, just part of it.

But I love him screaming at his teammates. And I have no issue with him breaking down in tears after losing the cup.

How long have we wished that more Flames players had a higher GAF meter?

With that said it was glorious seeing those Oil tears. Go Flames. Hope the Oilers never win another cup.

Erm, they were one goal away from tying it. That wouldn't win them the cup.

Who comes up with this stupidity?

GAF is great.
But you have to learn how to channel those emotions in the right way.
Did he shown any signs of taking his own accountability in that childish rant? Was there any use of the word "we" or anything like that?

Considering his ice time and lack of production in games 1 and 2, it seemed more like he should've been screaming at himself internally rather than at his teammates.

McDavid’s rant did not come across as a spontaneous, passionate outburst. It came across like a guy who feels it’s his role to say something to fire up his teammates, but who is not naturally a vocal guy. Like Gulutzan’s stick-throwing performance, but even more cringe.

The series just made me miss Matt all the more.

That whole family is so much fun. Matt and Brady giving Keith the gears, and then big Walt crying when Matthew lifted the Cup.

Connor McDavid - "I don't think the average fan or the average person can understand the grind we go through. The ups, the downs, the hard work we put it"

Lol. My guy. You aren't special. You've never worked a real job in your life. You have everything in your life catered to your every need and are paid hundreds of millions of dollars to play a game. Your "hardships" are a choice you made, nothing is forced upon you by society.

My god. I didn't think i could I dislike this ####ing clown less than I did before this series.

I always find it funny that athletes think 'The Average Joe' just 'can't understand!'

We've all made sacrifices for jobs. Lots of them.

Yeah NHLers have to play through injuries...thats part of your job. You know what? I've got lots of injuries myself.

You know what I dont have? A Team of Doctors on hand to patch them up at a moment's notice. I have to live with them.

You know what else? Nobody is giving me millions of dollars so I can wipe my tears with hundos.
