Unfortunately, I think Trademark is what is taking so long to announce a name. That process is never quick and someone may be giving them trouble. Since they had to hurry and make jerseys for this season now they aren't rushed.

I am going to their preseason game tomorrow and have tickets for when the Flames come to town.

“Magical Underpants” would be the best team name, but I’m guessing they’ll go with something dull like “Hive”.

Yeah, I'm sure it's the Yeti Holdings company trying to extract the max amount of money from Ryan Smith. I was in Salt Lake City last week and people were excited about the team.

Las Vegas and Seattle had years to go through this. Winnipeg, everybody knew it was going to be the Jets if they ever got a team back.

You need more time than a few weeks between the move announcement and the draft to get a name approved by the league and copyrighted.
