How do jersey sales work since advertising? I'd assume they wouldn't come with that patch. I've been building a collection (again) over the last year, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, svp Sports but buying new with those patches would be annoyijg.

Just horrible all the way around. I hate the ads to begin with but to have them promoting gambling is tasteless as well. Piss-poor decision making by CSEC.

They have had Telus on their road helmets for the last few seasons. I assume that will continue, but I wonder if they'll add a road jersey sponsor too?

Not thrilled but also not surprised it's a gambling ad.
Obviously no sponsors on jerseys is the ideal scenario, but looks wise it's not that bad... In fact I'd prefer this to having a big Canada & Alberta flag on each shoulder.

If I were a billionaire and bought a hockey team, it would be like the ultimate hobby. There's no chance I would ever try to make a buck by putting a company's logo on the uniform.
This is greedy, lame and I wish that this wasn't acceptable. The Flames became a slightly worse team to cheer for today.
This will keep happening until fans like us push back in a meaningful way. It feels insidious because it doesn't really feel reasonable to be upset enough to do anything, but if we collectively allow this honestly this whole thing probably just gets worse.
Fanatics quality with gambling ads on the chest. I think I'm going to be sticking with my Gio jersey for a long time.
