All the Jaws sequels
Anything after T2

Dark Phoenix
The vast majority of Disney Sequels

I think you can add Inside Out 2 to the better list. Builds on everything from the first while adding a lot of new stuff that fits right in, basically everything you want from a sequel

Also I think Die Hard: With a Vengeance should get a mention. I won't go sacrilegious and say it's better than the first, but IMO it's at least as good. And it works way better as a direct sequel to the first than the garbage that was Die Hard 2

The Dark Knight for sure.
Aliens
Empire Strikes Back (best of the 9)
28 weeks later
Evil Dead 2/Rmy of Darkness (depends on if you think ED2 is a sequel or a remake)
Blade Runner 2049
Dune 2
Rocky 2
Creed
Batman returns
I think the Conjuring 2 is better than the 1st.

Kung Fu panda 2.

This 'King Fu Panda' intrigues me. Is it like a low-budget knock-off?

Empire Strikes Back
Wrath of Kahn
T2
Army of darkness, since Evil Dead 2 was a remake of the first one.

Honest to goodness this was a complete "Damn you autocorrect!" Moment.

Wait a second. Which one had the best insult ever on film?

"hey laser lips! Your mama was a snow blower!". Because that's the best one, whichever it is

Top Gun is near the “so bad it’s good” category. I love it, but it’s a mess and isn’t really a great film from a lot of different perspectives.

Maverick is actually a good movie. It does everything that Top Gun did best, better, and strings a plot together and some character development that actually makes some sense.

I really feel like there’s nothing someone would like about Top Gun that Maverick didn’t do better.

I haven't watched Top Gun: Maverick. Would you say it had a hornier volleyball scene than the first one?
