Jeez united are losing possession and chances over the 1st 10 against a fulham without Paulhinha... terrible stuff. Some bargain basement backup Serbian and a butter soft Brazilian bossing them in the midfield so far

Fulham took down the Michael Jackson statue right?

Haha yeah its down now that was an epic level of corny-ness. Such a strange posh club at least they are actually playing in their home borough tho wearing the fulham badge with pride *cough* Chelsea

United picked it up there and are very unlucky not to be up. Shoud have had at least one goal if finishing was better. More like what I expected with the quality of fulhams defence

Starting Maguire? They're lucky to not be down.

Its like when Lovren played for Liverpool.

"Okay boys, Lovren is on so play like we're down 1-0...its going to happen sooner or later."

First 15-20 minutes were pretty bad. Certainly improved after that and should be ahead, but hardly convincing stuff so far. Need to pick it up in the second half.

First one to score a goal gets a Michael Jackson statue?

Fulham has looked more likely to break the dead lock in the last 10 minutes or so here.

United scrap a potential winner after some sloppy play by Fulham

(Actually pretty nice touch on that by Zirkzee)

look, I've witnessed the difficult post-Ferguson years at United first-hand, so I do understand a Liverpool fan poking some fun on the eve of their first post-Klopp season, which hopefully marks the beginning of some dark years for you Scousers.

But that memefication of Maguire is getting so old. Yeah, the dude has had some really difficult times the past few years, but he's actually dug himself out of that hole and has been a solid, solid CB in all of 2024 at least. I'll give him credit for that, he's shown character and grit. Was one of the best players yesterday as well. Shouldn't be a nailed-on starter at United, but he's a decent option to have once the schedule gets congested with Europa League and cup matches.

Last summer, I was disappointed when Maguire and McTominay stayed ... now I hope they won't leave. I'd rather offload other players at this point.

Lol at the keeper realising he was already going off after taking the first guy out, uses that double jeopardy to take another guy out.

Feel a bit bad for villa... they have missed 3 incredible chances and get real soft divey penalty given against them. They look to me like they are going to be right up there at the top again this year and a clear class above west ham (so far) even away from home

Also I hate newcastles ownership but they were hard done by on that red, Diaz was barely nudged and flopped terribly.

Not a lot of surprises... wolves and everton look terrible. Ipswich look outclassed. Hard to get a read on saints Ina game like that.

And Brighton thump Everton and do it with James Milner in the starting XI no less!

Way to go Milner!

What kind of defending was that on the Kovacic goal? Just let the man stroll in from just inside the halfway line right to the edge of the box. Some midfield that is from Chelsea, I'm sure it didn't cost too much.

I'm liking Arne Slot thus far.

I do believe the Dutch are born without emotions.
