I would wager that Pronman has seen him let in ONE long rage goal. There is almost no chance that Pronman has seen enough of him to have seen more than one.

Zarubin sounds a lot like Rittch. I remember Woodely talking about Rittich and Markstrom in the off-season that the Flames signed Markstrom. That year, Markstrom was the only goalie not to allow a long range bad goal, and Rittich was one of the worst in the NHL at allowing them.


However, Rittich scored spectacularly well on difficult saves. I forgot what Woodley categorized that as - "acrobatic saves"? Rittich was an elite-level high-danger chance saving goalie, but just lacked the mental focus for the rather boring stretches.
