I like the format you've been doing, Cali, my only critique would be to drop it from 7 to 5 tiers:
Blue Chip
A
B
C
D
Atleast that's more in line with how I view prospects in general. Doesn't mean it's the correct way, though.

Misa! A speedster with a draft year NHLe of 32.5. His draft year NHLe is higher than every forward picked so far except Coronato and Basha.

Do you have to manually fill out all these names individually into each poll slot daily? Thanks for putting in the work!

This round seems like it's going to be a floor vs ceiling runoff.
Solovyov seems to be a lock as an NHL player, but probably not much more than a 5-6 guy.
Misa seems to have a ton of potential, but he's undersized and didn't put up eye popping numbers in junior, so it's hard to say whether he'll ever actually translate the skill into professional hockey.
I'm voting on potential though, so it's Misa.

No auto fill helps. Then you have to drag the entire list upward to fill in the gaps.

Voted for Misa. He could turn into a Phillips, but can also turn into a Gaudreau type steal later in the draft.
Solo is awesome, but I see his ceiling as a Forbort, and his floor as Gilbert. He is the safer bet.
I'm a little surprised that Kuznetsov didn't pass him on the depth chart, as I was expecting him to develop faster than Solo when they were drafted.

Misa to me is a Rory Kerins comparable.

No single player moved up. Stromgren the only one to hold serve, and that took a pretty big charge for half a season.

Either the tradition of getting excited over the new draft class is in full effect
Or
Conroy and co. Did a great job drafting.
Hopefully the latter

You definitely could be right, and it could be wishful thinking on my part. Just to push back a little here Kerins put up 0.92ppg(NHLe of 24) in the OHL during his draft year, while Misa put up 1.23ppg(NHLe of 33).

Yeah 1st and 2nd rounders from the most recent drafts always enter the fray.
But this year Basha and Battaglia were 8th and 15th respectively.

Shiny new toy gets the best of many but this draft was different. Lots of quality where we picked, with every single pick.

I really like Solovyov and I believe he will be a solid NHLer, but Misa's boom/bust appeal is just too high. Solo at his best will likely be a 5/6 guy who can maybe slide into the top 4 if there's an injury. Misa could be a star even if it's a bit less likely he does make it to the NHL level so I chose to go with him here. Both are excellent picks though.
I'm very impressed with how quickly this prospect pool is looking as promising as it is. I thought it would take at least another full year to feel this hopeful for the future.

Misa might be a solid prospect, but he was picked 150th just this summer. Every team passed on him multiple times. I need to see more of him to truly buy-in.
I wouldn’t have gone for him even after Solovyov. Klapka, Lipinski and Zarubin (3rd round pick for us and many consider him the best goalie this draft) all would get a vote before him, in my books.

Good point. I just find it funny you mention Solo right after though. He was drafted as an overager so he was fully passed in his first draft, and then he was picked in the 7th round. Wolf is another 7th round gem.
Misa like many small guys before him will be considered too small until he proves otherwise. I like this team's track record with selecting smaller guys. Mangiapane, Gaudreau, and Wolf were some good late round finds by our scouts.

For me it is simple, everyone on this list has a lot to prove except for Solovyov, who only need to prove that he can do what he did in 10 games over 82.

Not the same though. If Solovyov was a pick this year, or the last year it would be a different story. Solovyov has kept proving in his trajectory. There is a longer track record.
It might also be a factor of having seen him live with the Wranglers and the Flames, but I do think Solo has some potential of being second pairing guy (also the post game celebration with Wolf has to count for something).
