Maybe he should demand a trade! I’m happy with Parekh falling to flames…but adding tij would be awesome. How was he at the Utah generics dev camp?

I know you're not being completely serious, but I would have been more disappointed in him if he didn't commit to the team that drafted him.
I say cheer for him. Let him know that there is always a place for him in Calgary, and maybe he comes over one day.
I don't really expect him to be in the NHL this season though, save for maybe a sample at the beginning of the season. I think he'll play one more year in junior.

The answer is an emphatic yes, and we should boo Jarmoe for not tampering with his kid's future.

I am not sure I buy it, but when he was drafted by Utah, it did look like Jarome was a little fake happy. Like I am sure he was just proud that his son was drafted by any team, especially that high, but something about his expression seemed subdued.
If it was really the case though, Tij could have just blown the interview or alluded to it. I am sure the Flames have passed over players at the draft that they thought wouldn't sign in Calgary or wouldn't really want to be there.

Hear me out. The Flames and Utah just wanted to create a vol. 2 of the "Iginla career path"
First another team drafts him and then we eventually trade for him in December/TDL.
We will trade Ras + Kuzzy for Iginla and thus a new legacy is born.

One of the dumbest threads of all time.

Booing isn't enough. We need to go to Tij's domicile and pelt it with bricks until he requests Utah to trade his rights to the Flames

If I see Tij, I plan to ask him if he’s been to Stampede yet.

Yes, he is serious about booing a 18 year old who had no control over where to be drafted to + who's father is a legend in the city....
Can't believe how serious some people are lol
