I mean, Snowden did DO the things he was accused of doing that caused him to flee to Russia (by way of China) so…
And whether the things Snowden did are good or bad are subjective. Dube? I'm guessing not so much.
He hasn't had his day in Court yet but...in a way I'm astonished that they didnt take away his passport? Isn't that a thing they do when people are accused of something but out on Bail? I dont know where the legal process is on this.

I was curious about that too. I never knew you could leave the country with a pending trial.

I thought he was already out of the country at the time and realized he wouldn’t be able to return.

Canadian courts don’t use “bail”, from what I recall.
Regarding Edward Snowden - the man is a Russian operative and the legal definition of a traitor to his country, so he can spend the rest of his days in Russia until finally he falls out a window.

That’s an interesting opinion. For people who detest the idea of big brother and police states, I think they’d view him more as a hero.

I have no idea. Genuinely.
But wasn't he here? Playing for the Flames at one point? So he'd have been 'in-country?'
I dont really remember the timeline.

Yeah, I dont think we're going to agree on that. Which is fair enough. Its a contentious issue and I'm happy enough to drop it. I do understand the nuances of it and that many people see his actions differently.
But..."When exposing a Crime is treated as committing a Crime? You are being ruled by Criminals."
But as for Dube? Draft him into the Russian Army. That'll go well.
