I’ve always liked Mantha, and he’s shown at times over the last couple of years that he can still dominate when he turns it on.

We need players to ice a roster. We need cap. We are not going to be any destination for most free agents.
AKA we get the Anthony Mantha's of the world, probably for a year or two.
Has a good season, flip for a random draft pick; if not, oh well, no biggie was a roster spot body for the season. We cannot ice an entire team of rookies.
