I hope we offer him a two year with a small, sensible raise. He earns his paycheque nearly every night.

Super unfortunate injury.

One of the most consistent Flames this year

Thought his Achilles snapped watching it live though, could be worse all considering.

He might be healthy in time for the Draft.

Really, looking back, weren't we ahead vs the Leafs when Pospisil went down?

Went on to lose that game, and the next three.

Coronato replaced him on that line, and that line really has been average or worse those games, whereas before that line brought the energy to pull the team along. Kadri hasn't been the same player, and Zary, outside of picking up some garbage to score last game, hasnt been noticeable.

Broken bone is WAY better than tendons, ligaments, etc. He should be good after he heals. Hope we find a way to keep him around next year.

Generally, but it depends on the break, the treament, and there may be tendons /ligaments involved as well (I don't trust media/team shorthand on this stuff).

I’m still trying to figure out how he also managed to get a 2 minute tripping penalty on that play, but I was watching live and possible I just missed something.

Either way, hopefully he recovers well. That didn’t look good at all.

He got him, it was a penalty.

8 weeks for tripping is a bit much though.

True. Had a fractured foot as well a couple of years ago. When the surgeon went in to repair it there was more damage than the what the xray etc had shown. The atrophe in my leg was crazy, took a while to build back up.
I hope AJ heals from this and gets back into shape quickly.

Awful. Agreed with the other posters, he had hustle. NGL though I'm a little excited to see how the next prospect they pull up performs in his place.

Too bad. Greer is one of the few flames players with a healthy GAF meter.
