Kylington’s return would do wonders for the Flames defensive depth, that third pairing has been exploited by opponents ever since the Zadorov trade (and to a lesser extent, even before it. And Kylington is better than Zadorov.
I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but seeing as how Tanev and Hanifin look to be gone having Kylington back would be good.
Granted he might be gone at the end of the year too. Who knows?

I think they need to be very careful with Kylington for a variety of reasons. He's already battled a groin injury in the AHL and throwing him into an NHL game too quickly could put him on the shelf again in a hurry.
I'm excited to see if he can still play at a high level, but at the same time I do hope they run him through another week or so of high tempo NHL practices and make sure they aren't playing him every game from the get go to be certain his body is going to hold up.

That would be troubling after all that he and the team have gone through. The team stuck by him, I should hope he sticks by the team.
Dont count on it. NHL careers are short.
That being said...he may not have a lot of suitors, but I've also been curious if the Team could Toll his contract? I really have no idea what the rules are around that.

With all the patience the organization has had with his return to play, I doubt they will rush it at this point. Every milestone is just the starting point for the next goal on the path to recovery.
