The Sharks have a -90 goal differential and 0.256 win %. That is shockingly bad. Amongst the worst goal diffs in NHL history and on pace to exit the year with the 5th worst all time.

For context, the next worst Blackhawks have a -57 goal differential…… it is insane how bad the Sharks are this season.

As long as the Oilers keep playing bottom feeders and getting multiple days off between games, they may never lose again.

And the zippy twins were the only goal scorers tonight. Such offensive depth on that team. 13 shots. Two man team for the win.

In those games they've played eight games against playoff teams: Knights, Jets, Hurricanes, Lightning, Panthers, Islanders, Rangers, and Kings.

In that stretch they are 5-3, with two wins coming in a shootout. Colour me unimpressed.

We all knew they were going to make the playoffs, that was never a question in my mind. In the playoffs they will likely have to go through Vancouver, Vegas, then one of Winnipeg or Dallas. Good luck with that... Unless powerplay advantages fall heavily in their favour, they are toast.

You can say that about all of the Jets, Canucks and Oilers.

Are the teams ever going to face each other? Or a team that's playing good hockey?

Wow, Leafs followed up their 4-1 win over the Sharks with a 7-1 slaughter over the same Sharks tonight lol. 4 points for Marner, 3 for each of Nylander and McCabe.

They squeaked out a win but the Oilers were outplayed and outshot by the Hawks...after 4 days off

their media was close to eating the ultimate crow after making fun of the Flames, really they still should

Healthy Tkachuk is a go! Back to back 4 point nights... 11 points in his last 3... 15 in his last 6.

Looks like the sternum is finally healed!

So Edmonton's 2 man squad beat up my team of AHLers. big whoop. Drai's goal was a pretty and well earned one. McAvi's GWG was only due to an awful line change. That kind of goal wouldn't happen against a playoff caliber team. Moreover, the Grease were held to 15 SOG by a squad that still are learning a couple of guy's names. Pitlick, for instance, arrived in town as a traded for a 7th round pick guy on Sunday to a #1 PP roster spot on Tuesday. Him, Megna and Sandford, who were picked up on waivers less than a week ago, and had never skated with the guys coming off injury Raddysh and Anderson.

Also, I noticed that McStatPad and his sidekick never left the ice the entire 2:43 that Mrazek had abandoned his net, giving up chances after chance to tie the game that the plumbers on my squad lacked the skill to take advantage of.

I hope that the Grease don't pull a muscle patting themselves on the back for that win, a quality team would have buried that 'Hawks lineup far more easily.

Are you making the suggestion that Calgary is not a quality team?

I'm surprised the Sabres haven't fired Granato in hopes of a spark, as their season is close to being over if they don't go on a run soon. I can't imagine he will be retained in the offseason.

The Jets steamroll past the BJs 5-0. Hellebuyck with the 29 save SHUTOUT.

The Lightning with a 3rd period comeback to tie it and then win it in OT. Perbix and Hagel are in on both the tying and winning goals. The Kings are sliding downward in the western conf.

The Ducks surprise the Predators in Nashville 5-3. The Ducks were 3/3 on the PK and Dostal stopped 39 shots for the win in net.

The Kraken's Daccord has really played well since Grubauer's injury. Daccord made 36 saves in Seattle's 5-2 win over the Sabres.
