It looks like the Knights shall end thier losing streak as they lead 3-2 late in the third period. Moore scored for the Kings with two minutes left in regulation time to make it a one goal game. This has been the superior all Pacific game.

Coach Tortorella gets a late Christmas gift as his team embarrassed the Canucks 4-1. The Flyers scored three goals in two minutes to break out the game and cruise to victory. Lol.

Odd the Flames have yet to play the Sharks or Hawks
It just means the Oilers have burned through some of their "free" points already (and leaving 2 on the table in the first sharks meeting) while the Flames have all those freebies on the table in their remaining schedule.

But given that key guys are getting traded I hope the Flames lose their meetings with the Coyotes, Wild, Preds and Blues.

If its a lost season block the clown show and burn another season of their window.

I also hope we play spoiler and take points from them in the remaining meetings.

Just finish ahead of the oilers. That’s all I ask.

Worse.

The Oilers are a psy-op of the One World Government WEF and also the Saudis.

Nah, just feed their competition points and beat them in the head to heads.

That would inflict maximum pain and agony.

I really don't care about finishing above them, unless it means the Flames sneak into a WC.

I think the WC chances are dying on the vine.

Oh yeah, I'm not counting on it.

Can't even beat the Kraken who've been just as inconsistent and mediocre as the Flames. Not a good sign that you're poised to beat anybody out for a playoff spot.

Oh they’ll beat vegas and colorado back to back on the road.

Then lose to chicago and the bluejackets at home on three days rest.

It’s what keeps me coming back.

They'll wrestle points out of a game if they're emotionally invested.

Problem is they don't give two ####s about playing any of the bottom 20 teams. Pedestrian, soft and throwing muffins from the outside.

If the Flames remaining schedule was all against top teams I'd wager they'd get in. Which is hilarious to consider.

Could you imagine coaching the flames? You’d need a staff therapist on speed dial.

Flames need to jump ahead of the following teams in order to make a wild card spot: Coyotes Preds Blues Wild Kraken Oilers.

Yes it’s very early and yes snek and all of that. But it’s just not going to happen. Anyone who is still holding on to playoff hopes would be better off letting them go.

I think the consensus in here was on there being no hope.

You're probably talking to only a handful of people, including Derek Wills.

The Oilers 5th goal by Nugent Hopkins seemed like it was deflected 5 times before it went in. I know it was a rookie goalie in net for the Sharks, but, even if Blackwood was in net, it wouldn't have made a difference. The Sharks are brutal.

The Knights win and the Canucks loss has both teams tied for 1st place in the western conf.

Svetchnikov gets the hat trick in the Hurricanes win.

The Flyers special teams did well with 1 SHG and 1 PPG.
