That was a major butt kicking by the Penguins, wow. The Islanders must have celebrated New Year's early because they were lethargic. It was 0-0 after the 1st period and then the Penguins went on a scoring blitz. Letang had a career night as mentioned by timbit and dino7c. Guentzel scored two goals in 12 seconds! Sororkin was pulled after the second period while Jarry gets the SHUTOUT by making 22 saves.
