Flames got robbed there in the shootout.

However, another entertaining and spirited game. This team is fun.

Also, Toffoli who??

Please stop putting the fate of the game in the hands of Huberdeau.

Sharky has to be shaking his head at these dud shootout attempts.

Lets keep all the free agents until they've driven all value out of them. Great.

Well, that was....better than getting nothing?

WTF is Huska doing with Hubey? Why, oh why put him on the SO? Oh...to "build his confidence". Checks notes....that only works if he scores and Huberdidn't.

The NHL has a serious officiating problem, how does that first shootout goal count? It shouldn't so either these idiots don't know what the rules are or something fishy is going on here. I am really getting turned off the NHL by the piss poor inconsistent officiating.

This is nothing new, the NHL likes to make rule adjustments mid game all the time. Pretty cut and dry rule you'd think it'd be easy to make that call.

No idea how they can review it and still call it good when we saw in two seconds that it shouldn't have counted.

Can't be too disappointed, maybe our ref luck will change by the time we get good in the future.

Time to celebrate!!
Overtime and shootout points are optimal for maintaining mediocrity via unremarkable draft picks and a lack of playoff positioning.

However, if a game gets beyond regulation, it is probably entertaining. And that's the whole point. It's fun to see the Flames at least being competitive.

Huberdeau with the game on his stick in the shootout. Can’t say the team isn’t showing faith in him. Thought he made some good passes tonight but as usual it’s not enough.

Flames were certainly trying to go for no points tonight with their defending in the last 5 min of reg but Vladar decided he wants to stay away from Celebrini, I liked Vladar tonight.

I guess they deemed it wasn't a shot attempt initially, but touched because Vladar reached out to poke the puck. But because Vladar didn't stop the puck, just touched it the puck still slid across to Zuccarello to take his shot.

On a side note... Laine might be the softest player I've ever seen.

I’ve been saying since day 1. He’s the worst signing in Flames history. I will rag on him for 7.5 more years or until he gets the LTIR. I’d #### on his golf course greens.

Interesting, thanks. Didn't look like that on the replay, but I'm also getting older and may be losing my eye sight.

Oh, so apparently he used The Force to change the direction of the puck.
