Sharangovich looking like the deal. Bright side with the young kids up front, not so much in the D

Both road games were for the taking. Between penalties and turnovers we gave the game to both Vegas and Colorado. Need to eliminate the errors and penalties in the third period and we win both.

What does Huska see in Osterle? He is a complete train wreck, and has been out of the lineup being passed over by Gilbert and Solo. Yet with under 4 minutes left he's inexplicably out there with Weegar.

Huska needs to get his head out of his butt.

Marc Savard needs to go yesterday. This is the worst I have seen the Flames PP look in like 25 years. Way to go off the board with that hire.

I have absolutely no clue what Huska wants this team to be good at.

Yegor looks like a player, I gave up on him way too soon.

Great effort, could have easily won both on this b2b

Key will be keeping this same effort against lesser teams...almost every game is entertaining, not much to complain about

Game could have been different if the refs don’t make critical mistakes.

The Weegar penalty call was embarrassing. Missing a blatant head shot because you don’t want to have out a 2 minute 5 on 3.

These bums are never held accountable but always find a way to ruin games.

NHL refs are embarrassing. They should be punished and put on blast like they are in the NBA.

If coaches can sit and call out poor performances by players well the refs need to answer for this garbage.

He is in the lineup due to injury

Worse than last year at giving up the slot and net-front to players unchallenged.
The defence was depleted tonight and we had to rely a lot on the farm hands. A healthy Tanev would have made a difference tonight. It will get better when Kylington returns to play also.

Yeah, but he should still be the #6 option. Why not go to 4D men that late in the game? His deployment could have been managed way better.

When the refs didn't call that second penalty on the same play on that bad hit you knew they were just game managing, not actually doing their jobs.

What kind of defence were you expecting?

Yeah, it’s way easier for kids to fit in up front. D is a heavy load for guys like Solo.

I know Oesterle isn’t great but 3 minutes out, Huska has to rest Andersson, Hanifin and Weegar a bit, for the final couple minutes.

Is it weird that I feel bad for Huberdeau, even though he made another $128k tonight?

I’m sure in the end, he is feeling okay. Kinda hope so, but yea, some of those “shifts” he had tonight were… interesting…

I think team defense is not very good. There is a difference between zone defense and being stupidly passive. The Flames are too passive, even in their zone coverage.

We all knew how Sutter wanted the team to play, and how he thought you should win. I have no clue what Huska wants this team to do to win, but he sure doesn't seem to have jem pushing in the same direction.

Or Osterle, Gilbert and DeSimone aren't NHL defenceman.

Wouldn't you rather have Gilbert out there over Osterle? I mean, Gilbert has been in the lineup over Osterle of late.

It's actually a miracle to get a point with all 3 of them in.
Can't complain about this game.

Here’s to hoping Yegor never looks back. Has some incredible flair and has all the tools to be an impact player. Would be a nice story if he could hit 25-30 in what might be a pretty rough season.

Kadri is our best forward, I can’t believe so many on CP actually thought his contract was the worst in the NHL. Anyways, as I’ve mentioned before, he’ll never get the love he deserves here cuz this fanbase hates him, once he goes on a mini- rough stretch ppl will be calling for his head again. if Huberdeau was playing this good there would be non-stop posts praising him for it.

Zary and Sharangovich are our next best players and they make this team really fun to watch. Keep losing and get a good draft pick. Trade Lindy and Tanev, if the price is right sign Hanifin, otherwise trade him too and just pray Hubie is a Skinner situation. The worst part about the Huberdeau contract is that it really is our only bad contract right now but it is worst contract in the league type of bad so it really screws us. Just gotta keep believing he’ll turn it around. Ah well, at least this team is fun to watch.
