Trouba keeps doing what he does because he's allowed to.

Maybe not even allowed, he's encouraged. 5k fine? That's a joke. The NHL is telling him it's totally fine to keep doing that. Why would he not?

It is not a repeat game of the Canucks at Sharks. The Sharks have some bite tonight as they lead 4--2 in the third period.

The Coyotes win 2-0.

It is weird scheduling. Heck, the Avs played the Kraken for the third time in their first 14 games!

SHUTOUTS galore. Ersson makes 25 saves in the Flyers 1-0 SO win. Sororkin makes 40 saves in the SOL. It was a tame game with just 4 minor penalties, the Islanders were 0/3.

The Coyotes-Knights were going down the same path of doing the same thing until Keller scored halfway through the 3rd period and then Crouse with the empty net goal, 2-0 final. Ingram made 34 saves in the win while Thompson stopped 16/17 shots in the loss.

The Kings won 4-0 as Copley stopped all 18 shots and the Kings were 3/3 on the PK.

The Bruins lost for the 2nd straight time. The Rangers won 7-4 with Kreider scoring 2 goals (1 SHG and 1 PPG). Ullmark was in net for all 7 goals.

LOL at the Canucks and Leafs as they both lost by one goal in reg time. The Sabres experienced hell due to the Devils beating them 7-2.

Coming into the season the Rangers and Kings were barely on my radar. Now it's looking like they might meet in the finals.

Lots of success for sports teams named Rangers lately...

Most of the talking heads had both the Rangers and Kings as playoff locks and in the upper tier of teams, from what I saw. Personally, I wasn't sold on the Kings, but agreed on the Rangers being a top team.

Between the Canes, Devils, and Rangers, I had the Rangers at number 3 on that list. While we're only a quarter of the way through the season, the Rangers have more than impressed thus far, and the Metro standings look very different from what was expected.
