Yegor on the topline is interesting.

That line is listed first but I really have no idea which is the top line on this club. I certainly don’t think that line would be the best line.

Feels like we just have 4 lines, whoever's playing better gets more icetime. Which is fine.

Hope they say screw it and come out flying. But I think this might be the start of the highway to hell.

The next month will be a big one for the organization

Flames are an abnormal team in the league. I don’t think they have a top line.

Flames have had some big games in the AA center in recent years. Hopefully they have another one up their sleeves.

Should be a tough next two games. I think these 2 are really going to show us what this team is right now.

Hopefully these games are not as depressing as that Colorado game last year when they came in and put the hammer down on the Flames like it was easy and showed them how poorly they stack up to a contender.

Yeah, it's funny. Are other teams going to use their best checking center against...Mikael Backlund? Okay.

Yeah they have a clear 4th line.
The other lines are mixed of 2nd or 3rd line

No top line whatsoever….Hard to win like that

Kadri line with Zary in produced like a top line.

Even if the names don't pop off the page, they filled the role admirably.

The Lindholm line is interesting. Lindholm and yegor shooters and mang being the cleanup crew around the net. Might work if they are given heavy o zone starts and can win faceoffs but I can't see possession, zone entry or cycling working for them. Seems like an odd trio to put together.

Maybe it will be more like the last time the Flames were in Dallas.

I think there is a way to build a team without any legit Stars but it takes incredible depth and the right mix of playing styles throughout the lineup. Seattle could be an example from last year.

Unfortunately, the Flames do not have that depth at the moment.

The Kraken are a little overrated as far as team building goes. Last year they squeaked in. This year they are 4 points ahead of Calgary with 3 more games and a much higher goal differential (a big stat for me). They are a pretty old team - maybe older than Calgary overall, and aside from Beniers, no real exciting prospects (Wright hasn't really impressed has he?).
